In its heyday, the once-illustrious Leeds family was known for two things. The first was their impressive wealth, which they used to found and build up Pumpkin Hollow. The second was the sheer size of their family. Dahlia Leeds was the youngest of thirteen in what seemed to be a flourishing dynasty. However, Dahlia's arrival was shortly overshadowed by her mother's death in childbirth, and since then a gradual string of misfortunes has slowly picked off Dahlia's siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles, before finally taking her father just before death stopped entirely in Pumpkin Hollow. Dahlia is the last Leeds standing, believing that her inability to die is the only thing preventing her own demise.
Despite a lifetime of tragedy sparking in her a reasonable paranoia and melancholy, Dahlia's polished upbringing and well-honed charisma always manage to shine through her troubles. Scholarly, politically active, gracious, and well-spoken, Dahlia is well-liked and respected amongst the townspeople. She maintains a position on the town council and is the founder and president of the Pumpkin Hollow Historical Society, and her social gatherings are the talk of the town.
