Dahlia tilts her head slightly. "...Can I take you shopping? My treat."
"Sh-shopping? With you?" Quite outside her control, Patty's tail thumps once against the leg of her chair, making her jump and fumble to get it back into her lap. "W-wow...I've never been shopping with someone as fancy as you before, um, miss..."
Keep her talking about the Bizzyboys, and she's all confidence. Offer to something for her, for the girl only recently known at Patty, and she's all shyness once more. Miss Dahlia is really...she's just really, really pretty, okay?!
Dahlia snickers. Gosh, that tail is cute. "You wanna know my little secret?" She leans forward conspiratorially. "I'm not really all that fancy. I'm just really good at pretending. But my favorite things to do are throw knives and drink whiskey and read trashy novels. And I can shapeshift into a gross monster. It's really all about faking it 'till you make it. And you know what helps with that? Cute clothes."
"You can throw knives?" Patty gasps, eyes sparkling. "And transform into a monster? Wooooow...That's so cool, Miss."
Okay, she's fully on board with this shopping trip now. Patty hops to her feet, tail lashing with excitement. And there's also... "After we go shopping, do you think you could show me how you throw knives?" she asks eagerly. "I've always wanted to learn something cool like that, but it's not really a Bizzyboy kind of thing..."
